New Photos on Flickr

Kind of like this new set, all shot on Capitol Hill. It's only 11 shots though because I don't have enough space on my normie account (100 MB for regular users and unlimited for "pros"). Took these with Logan Kerr, would have made a link for him if he had any sort of online photo account, I'm sure it's coming though. Nonetheless, enjoy!

Comedy Underground Open Mic!

I'll be doing some stand up (very likely at the least) at the Seattle Comedy Underground open mic tomorrow. It'll be my first time, hope it goes well, I've been practicing. Make sure to check out this fresh, talented dude named Yogi. He's nice with the punchlines.

Many chuckles to all.

Sound Off: Week One

Well kids, it's that time of year again. Sound Off, the northwest's under 21 battle of the bands has made it's way back to Seattle for another year of awesome. Favorites of the night were Candysound who also ended up winning the semi final. Other bands included Seattle's own Sea Fever, Tacoma high school punkers Apache Chief, and Kennewick Middle Eastern metalheads Sui-Generis. All in all, great show, really enjoyed all the acts, fun was had. Demo CD's were made. Make sure to check it out for next week, and remember, finals will be on March 7th, hope to see y'all there!

Robot Chicken, Season 3

Just saw my way through this whole thing and boy if I don't worship Seth Green. The show is basically a bunch of random sketches, all done in stop motion with old action figures. Yes, real action figures. It's actually quite cool. I've always liked it because of the clever pop-culture satire the writers (including Green and co-creator Matthew Senreich) seem to always place aptly in the show. Well that and the cartoon violence and fart jokes, but to each his own. Over the years I've become a fanboy of the show, and it was good to see all the commentary and extra footage on the two disc DVD set. I got to see the origin of many of the sketches I love, including one titled 'Law and Order: KFC' which is set in an alternate universe where chickens have replaced people--all the dialouge was just a series of "buk-bu-gok". This is a great show and I hope that some of you out there are willing to check it out.
